Youngsters Frolicking at Lackford Wetlands

Join us for an exciting outdoor adventure at the Wild Tots event, taking place at the Lackford Lakes nature reserve. This event is designed for children aged 18 months to 5 years, and their families, to explore and play in the great outdoors.

The event will take place from 10am to 11:30am, and the meeting point is pencils.reckons.complies. Please note that this event is not based at the Lackford Lakes Visitor Centre, and some walking will be required.

At Lackford Lakes, we strive to make our events as accessible as possible. The Visitor Centre offers wheelchair-accessible routes, viewpoints, and facilities. However, paths may become less accessible after bad weather, so we encourage you to contact us to discuss any specific accessibility needs.

Babies in arms, baby-carrier, or pushchair are welcome to accompany an older sibling to the session. Wellies may be useful, and clothes that can get muddy are recommended.

Wild Tots sessions are led by our Engagement Officer, and places for the event must be booked online as they are limited. Due to the popularity of these sessions, it's recommended to book in advance to secure your spot. Some places may be available on the day, but it's best to call ahead to confirm.

Parking information is not provided in this announcement, but we recommend checking our website for parking details closer to the event date.

For those with mobility concerns, it's recommended to contact us beforehand for weekly plans. Assistance dogs are allowed on all trails, but dogs must be kept on a lead on the red trail.

We kindly ask that you bring appropriate outdoor clothes, a snack, and a drink for your child. For full event terms and conditions, please visit www.our website/eventinfo.

For specific accessibility accommodations for Wild Tots, it is best to contact Suffolk Wildlife Trust or Lackford Lakes directly. We want to ensure that everyone can enjoy our events, and we are happy to discuss any additional needs you may have.

We look forward to seeing you at the Wild Tots event at Lackford Lakes! For more information, please contact us at lackford.engagement@our website.
