Week of Home Cinema: Demonstrations Crafted to Amaze

Trinnov Audio, a leading name in immersive sound design, has been creating meticulously crafted audio experiences through its audio trailers. Designed to highlight the potential of underutilized channels like wides and ceiling speakers, these trailers are not marketing reels or product promos, but rather, they are intended to challenge audio systems, thrill listeners, and spark conversation.

Benoit Munoz, Trinnov's marketing manager, is the visionary behind this project. He created the trailers as a response to the lack of an agnostic approach to audio in existing content. The visual idea for each trailer often comes from a partnership with an emerging artist, such as Lucio Arese for "Les Dieux".

The first trailer, "Audio Experience", was produced in 2020 to showcase DTS:X Pro. Since then, Trinnov Audio has produced several trailers, each one a standalone piece that showcases audio excellence without requiring blockbuster budgets or star power.

These trailers have garnered positive feedback from longtime industry partners and audio enthusiasts. They have been used by hobbyists, calibrators, YouTubers, and other enthusiasts to explore the limits of their home theater audio systems. Integrators and dealers who have used the trailers in their showroom demos have also reported positive feedback, with some customers upgrading entire systems after experiencing a true Trinnov demo.

Trinnov Audio has produced its own trailers to demonstrate the capabilities and performance of their advanced audio processing technology in a controlled and optimized environment. The trailers are mixed in reference-grade environments, including Trinnov-calibrated rooms and studios like MSM in Munich and Berlin.

The trailers are available for download at Trinnov's Hub in multiple formats including Atmos, Auro-3D, and DCP. The team is excited to expand on this concept further and continue pushing the boundaries of immersive audio experiences. As the concept of creating immersive trailers evolves, the team is exploring new ideas and collaborations.

These trailers, primarily made for Trinnov Audio itself, are also designed to resonate with integrators and enthusiasts. They are concise, thrilling audio-visual pieces that serve as a testament to Trinnov's commitment to delivering exceptional audio experiences.
