Saxony-Anhalt Boosts Creative Economy with €800k Startup Support
Saxony-Anhalt's creative economy gains significant support with a new project aimed at bolstering startup initiatives. State Secretary Stefanie Poetzsch, during the Saxony-Anhalt Creative Economy Association's (KWSA) 15th anniversary, announced funding for 'Startup Support in the Creative Economy'.
The funding, totaling nearly €800,000 from the ego.-KONZEPT program, seeks to foster entrepreneurial self-employment and improve the startup scene in the region's creative news. Poetzsch emphasized the strength and visibility of this sector, highlighting its role as a driver of innovation in other industries.
The BESTFORM AWARD, a unique nationwide prize, will also play a role in promoting the wealth of ideas and networking within the creative economy. The new project aims to create better framework conditions for creative founders, giving the industry impulses for sustainable growth.
The funding decision underscores the state's commitment to the creative economy, with KWSA having successfully formed a strong community in the region since 2010. The new project is expected to further boost the creative sector's contribution to Saxony-Anhalt's economic landscape.
