Rodale Institute's Magical Lantern-Lit Trail Event Returns Oct 4
On the 4th of October 2025, the Rodale Institute invites families to a magical lantern-lit trail event through a woodland at night. This event, suitable for children aged 5 and above, culminates in a cosy gathering by a fire to enjoy hot chocolate.
Participants will craft their own lantern using a clean glass jar or a tin can provided. The trail begins with booking an 'Adult & 1 child' ticket, with the option to add more adults or children from the same household with 'Additional Child/Adult' tickets. All children must be accompanied by an adult, and those with limited mobility are advised to contact the organiser in advance.
Dress appropriately for the weather, and don't forget to bring a torch for the walk back to the car park. The event promises an enchanting experience for all, ending with a warm drink by the fire.
