Retail chain Bed Bath & Beyond announces it will honor expired coupons at recently opened locations.
Bed Bath & Beyond Reborn: The Brand House Collective's New Beginning
After a period of slumping performance, Bed Bath & Beyond is making a comeback under its new parent company, The Brand House Collective (formerly Kirkland's). The brand's revitalization is set to begin on August 8, 2025, with the opening of a new store in Nashville, Tennessee.
This store marks a "fresh start" for the iconic Bed Bath & Beyond, as it reintroduces the brand in a modern format. The store will offer a broad range of home products for every budget and room, while reviving the beloved Bed Bath & Beyond coupon tradition to engage legacy customers and create customer excitement.
The Brand House Collective has made several operational changes alongside this store launch. The company is repositioning itself as a multi-brand retail operator, consolidating its physical store footprint by closing underperforming locations. The goal is to operate about 290 stores carrying several home brands, including Kirkland’s Home, Bed Bath & Beyond Home, and Overstock.
The company has also undergone executive restructuring, with the appointment of a new CFO, Andrea Courtois, to drive growth and efficiency in the company’s transformation.
The new store in Nashville is part of a broader strategy aimed at appealing to former customers. The Brand House Collective is tasked with converting Kirkland's Home stores to Bed Bath & Beyond Home stores. Around 290 Kirkland's locations will serve as the "foundational footprint" for Kirkland's Home, Bed Bath & Beyond Home, and Overstock.
In addition, Beyond Inc., the largest equity holder in tZero Securities, has provided Kirkland's with $17 million in debt financing in October. Beyond also acquired Kirkland's IP for $5 million, with plans to license it back.
The store launch has received commendation from significant shareholders, such as Eric Ebert of Shay Capital. In an open letter, Ebert commended Beyond for its investments in companies like tZero.
Amy Sullivan, CEO of The Brand House Collective, stated that the store is a fresh start for a brand that means something special to many families. Old Bed Bath & Beyond coupons will be honored at the new store, and new coupons will be provided to customers. The first 25 customers who make a purchase at the new store will receive a 10-inch memory foam queen-size mattress called The Beyond Bed.
The Brand House Collective announced its rebrand in June and has since declassified its board of directors and will move to an annual directors election, as approved by shareholders on Thursday.
Bed Bath & Beyond's brick-and-mortar presence is returning next month, marking a significant step in the brand's revitalization under The Brand House Collective. Beyond is ingraining itself deeper into the world of digital assets, while maintaining its roots in home retail. The Nashville store is just the beginning of this exciting new chapter for Bed Bath & Beyond.
