The newly opened restaurant 'Vera' in Ludwigsburg's bustling pedestrian zone is a delight for food lovers. Owned by former VfB player Boka and his wife Ilknur Bolat, who was previously a minibus driver, the restaurant is a mix of restaurant, bar, and café.
The Bolats, who are particularly proud of their pasta specialties, prepare these fresh daily at the 'Vera'. The menu offers a variety of seven different pasta dishes, eight salads, four burgers, seven other main courses, and soon, pizza. The restaurant serves dishes from international cuisine, including Neapolitan pizza, for which guests can watch the chefs prepare through a large glass window in the foyer.
Breakfast at the 'Vera' is a treat, offering a wide range of options, including Turkish specialties and unlimited homemade flatbread. The bar, which is nearly seven meters long, is perfect for a morning coffee or an evening drink. The restaurant also has a Sunday breakfast buffet in the works.
The 'Vera' boasts approximately 115 seats on the ground floor in a modern, dark-toned atmosphere. For larger gatherings, there is an additional room upstairs that can accommodate up to 80 guests.
Quality is a priority at the 'Vera'. The restaurant uses only high-quality ingredients, with no frozen products used. One of the signature dishes is the 'Vera Special', a main course consisting of thinly sliced beef with potatoes, spiced rice, and pine nuts.
The 'Vera' also offers a daily special. The restaurant's owners, the Bolats, only offer dishes that they like themselves, ensuring a unique and delicious dining experience.
