Frankfurt Police: 45-Year-Old Man Arrested After Attacking Officer
In an unexpected incident, a 45-year-old man was arrested on September 6, 2025, following an attack on a police officer in Frankfurt am Main. The assault took place on the Zeil at around 19:20, as a patrol team was on duty, taking a report.
According to the police, the aggressor had been intoxicated and suddenly became aggressive. He removed his T-shirt and attacked one of the officers. The man was subsequently subdued by other officers and arrested at the scene.
Following his arrest, the man was taken to the police headquarters in Frankfurt for further investigation. The investigation is being conducted by the Police Headquarters Frankfurt am Main and is ongoing as of the latest update.
