Prosperous Weekend Transpires in France

The France Festival, fondly known as "La grande fête française", is set to return to Düsseldorf, Germany, next summer, from 3rd to 5th July 2024. This three-day event, similar to its previous edition, will once again offer a vibrant celebration of French culture, attracting an anticipated 100,000 visitors[1].

The festivities will take place around Burgplatz, Rheinuferpromenade, and the town hall courtyard, providing a picturesque setting for the colourful exhibitions, French products, culinary delights, and live music[2][4]. Visitors can look forward to a joyful immersion in "savoir vivre" (the art of living), as they experience the authentic French ambiance and convivial festivities that have made the festival a much-anticipated annual event.

In addition to the main festival, a parallel event, Tour de Düsseldorf, is expected to be part of the 2024 edition. This event will feature around 130 French vintage cars, including one over 100 years old[3]. The Tour de Düsseldorf is expected to cover approximately 120 kilometers through the Düsseldorf countryside, offering a unique blend of classic cars and French culture.

The exhibitors, who participated in the 2023 festival, were satisfied with the outcome and are hopeful for another successful event in 2024[7]. Approximately 130 exhibitors are expected to participate, providing a rich blend of French flavors, music, and cultural flair that makes the festival a must-visit for Francophiles.

For those interested in reliving the atmosphere of the 2023 festival, impressions from the event are available online[6]. The 2024 edition is shaping up to be another memorable celebration of French culture in the heart of Düsseldorf.
