Mattel's 2025 Dia de Muertos Barbie Dolls Set Unveiled
In a vibrant and festive reveal, renowned designer Ari Sarinana has unveiled the 2025 Dia de Muertos Barbie and Ken dolls. These limited-edition collectibles are set to captivate fans with their intricate detailing and authentic celebration of Mexican culture.
The 2025 Dia de Muertos Barbie stands out in a multitiered cream gown adorned with a marigold flower motif. Her sugar skull-style makeup adds a touch of traditional Day of the Dead mystique. Accompanying her is the 2025 Dia de Muertos Ken doll, dressed in a striking black charro suit with gold trim and cempasúchil flowers. His face is done up in traditional calavera face paint, coordinating perfectly with the blue accents on his shirt and the pink ribbon tie.
Last year, Sarinana introduced the 2024 Dia de Muertos Barbie, who donned a satiny black dress with a blue, ruffled bodice and a pink ribbon belt. Her gown featured a sugar skull motif, and her headpiece resembled marigold flowers. Ken, on the other hand, wore a black suit with the same blue accents as Barbie's 2025 outfit. His calavera face paint complemented the stitching on his jacket.
The 2023 Dia de Muertos Barbie stuns in a dazzling pink gown with a ruffled neckline and flared hem. Her dress boasts a sugar skull and flower design down the front, while her headpiece features butterflies. Ken, dressed in a silvery striped shirt and black boots, sports a bold blue jacket with a hat adorned with a sugar skull band.
A unique addition to the 2023 Dia de Muertos Barbie collection is a miniature ofrenda diorama, complete with dancing skeletons inside.
