Library Patronage Resumes: Lörrach City Library Reopens for Book Lovers

The Lörrach City Library is set to kick off its annual "Hot on Reading" program on July 15th, inviting children in grades one to six to embark on a fun and engaging reading adventure. This book challenge, aimed at fostering a love for reading and media literacy, is supported by the Friends of the City Library and the Freiburg Regional Government.

Participants can pick up a reading logbook at the library to track their reading progress. For each book read, they will receive a stamp in their logbook. As they read their way through the summer, they'll have the chance to win a variety of prizes, including free tickets to the Burghof, a stay at Europa-Park, a weekend at a youth hostel, and even a ranger tour in the Black Forest.

The grand finale of the program will be a reading party on September 26th, featuring author Rüdiger Bertram. In addition to the certificates, raffle, and prizes, the party promises to be a celebration of reading and the joy it brings.

Three stamps in the logbook will earn an entry into a drawing for an ice cream voucher. However, the main prizes for the reading competition have not been detailed in the search results. For precise details, visiting the Lörrach City Library’s official website or contacting them directly is recommended.

This year's "Hot on Reading" program is a fantastic opportunity for children to develop a love for reading while also having the chance to win exciting prizes. So, grab a book, get reading, and join in the fun!

Joining the "Hot on Reading" program, children can discover a plethora of engaging books from the library's home-and-garden, lifestyle, entertainment, and books sections. As they immerse themselves in captivating stories, they'll be rewarded with stamps, chances to win prizes, and the thrill of a grand finale reading party featuring renowned author Rüdiger Bertram.
