Kaarst's Street Food Season Wows Thousands, Plans for Bigger Finale Next Year
Kaarst's street food season concluded on a high note, drawing thousands of visitors despite initial weather challenges. Organizer Marc Pesch plans to expand next year's finale event following the positive response.
The season featured a diverse range of culinary delights. Lippstadt's truck offered Loukoumades, fried dough balls with cinnamon and various toppings. Streetfood Souvlaki served Greek grill specialties, while Mr Kofta offered kofta and falafel. Daniels Diner provided a variety of barbecue sandwiches. Kaamulan brought Philippine specialties with rice, noodles, and chicken, and Sodsai showcased Thai cuisine. EGO Food delighted visitors with dry aged beef burgers and Belgian fries. Meanwhile, the 'Old Town Hall' presented French flammekueche, adding a touch of European flair to the event.
The street food season in Kaarst proved to be a success, with a wide range of international cuisines catering to diverse tastes. Despite early weather concerns, thousands of visitors enjoyed the festivities. Looking ahead, organizer Marc Pesch aims to make the finale event even bigger next year.
