The Doki Doki Store Returns to Offenbach in 2025

The Doki Doki Store, a popular meeting place for Japan enthusiasts, is set to reopen its doors at the KOMM-Center in Offenbach, Germany. The store will be open from January 24 to April 12, 2025, offering a unique and immersive experience for visitors.

The Doki Doki Store provides a platform for fans of Japanese culture, featuring a themed café, the popular Artist Alley, and weekly changing workshops. Visitors can look forward to interactive workshops and artistic exhibitions, where they can make matcha cotton candy or paint traditional fox masks.

The store will be open every Friday and Saturday, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Fans have the opportunity to meet well-known German manga artists Yaya Chan and Fuko, creators of works such as "Spooky Eyes" and "Rootless." These artists will be present to personally introduce their works to visitors.

The Doki Doki Store is not just a store, but an inspiring experience for the entire region. In 2024, the store's organisers were awarded the "Gaimu Daijin Hyosho" prize by the Japanese Minister of Foreign Affairs for their contribution to the spread of Japanese culture in Germany.

The Main Matsuri Festival, organised by the same group, attracts over 30,000 visitors to Offenbach every August. This year's festival is expected to be even bigger and better, with the addition of the Doki Doki Store pop-up.
