Introductory training for the youngest participants!
On Saturday, September 27, 2025, a balance bike course for children aged two to six will take place in Cologne. This exciting event, aimed at promoting local traffic safety, is organised by Radparcours.de from Cologne and takes place in cooperation with the Stadtverkehr Euskirchen GmbH.
The event is funded by the Cologne Regional Government as a measure within the promotion of local traffic safety actions for the year 2024. Radparcours.de will provide balance bikes, age-appropriate ramps/hills, helmets, and traffic signs to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.
Children can attend the event without registration, and participation is free. If they prefer, they can bring their own balance bike and helmet. The course will run from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and multiple laps in a row or a return visit during the event are possible.
Every child who completes the course at least once (while supplies last) will receive a certificate and a small gift as a token of achievement. Children are invited to attend with their accompanying persons.
The balance bike course will take place at the small schoolyard of the comprehensive school, located at Cologne Street 25, next to the evangelical church. The venue is easily accessible and offers ample space for the fun-filled activities planned for the day.
So, mark your calendars and get ready for a day filled with balance bike fun and learning! This is a fantastic opportunity for children to learn about road safety in a fun and engaging way. We hope to see you there!
