Introducing a Collaboration Between Hot Wheels and Ferrari: A Classic Collection That Blends Yesterday and Today

In an exciting development for car enthusiasts and collectors, Hot Wheels and Ferrari have partnered for a multi-year collaborative effort, marking their first team-up in over a decade. This partnership has resulted in a series of new releases for 2025, starting with the Hot Wheels x Ferrari Heritage Set.

The Heritage Set, currently sold out on Mattel's website, features 1:64 scale miniatures of two iconic Ferraris: the 1970 312 P and the modern-day 499P Modificata. The 1970 312 P miniature boasts a Spectraflame bright red coat, racing number 25 on the doors and hood, deep-dish Neo-Classics Redline wheels, a clear window showing a deep red interior, and an engine cover that opens up for a realistic touch. In contrast, the 499P Modificata miniature sports a Spectraflame rosso corsa body coat, racing number 24 on the hood and sides, pinstripes in the color of the Italian flag, 10-spoke Real Riders wheels, a removable engine cover, and a black interior visible through lightly smoke-tinted windows.

Beyond the Heritage Set, upcoming Hot Wheels and Ferrari collaborations in 2025 include the Hot Wheels Circuit Legends 2 set, which features two Porsches, a Ferrari, and notably the ultra-rare Black Ferrari 499P Chase, marking a first for Hot Wheels Ferrari collectibles. Specific pricing details for these sets have not been disclosed in the available information.

The Hot Wheels x Ferrari Heritage Set is presented in a hinged "soft-touch" box for display purposes. It's important to note that the miniatures in the Heritage Set are not your average Hot Wheels; they offer a more detailed and realistic representation of the actual vehicles. Additionally, the set features a sturdier build compared to regular Hot Wheels.

In June, a remote-controlled version of the SF90 Stradale will be released for $20. Later this year, Hot Wheels and Ferrari will also release mini die-cast versions of the F40 Competizione, 365 GTB4 Competizione, and SF90 Stradale for $1.25 each.

Looking ahead, more premium models will be released, including collectible-grade versions of the LaFerrari, F50, and 250 GTO with more refined detailing, priced up to $20. In October, a vintage-inspired set featuring the Ferrari 250 GTO and Fiat 642 RN2 Bartoletti Transporter will be released.

For those who missed out on the Hot Wheels x Ferrari Heritage Set, it may be available at other retail marketplaces. This collaboration between Hot Wheels and Ferrari promises an exciting year for car collectors and enthusiasts alike. Stay tuned for more updates on these upcoming releases.
