Industry Solutions Unveiled for Food & Hospitality Sector in Malaysia by 2025
Food & Hospitality Malaysia (FHM) 2025, the premier trade-only exhibition for the Malaysian food and hospitality industry, is set to return for its 18th edition from September 23 to 26, 2025, at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC). Organized by Informa Markets Malaysia, this four-day event promises to be a key platform for professionals across Southeast Asia, featuring over 1,500 brands and companies from 15 countries and expecting more than 25,000 trade visitors.
Emphasis on Innovation and Transformation
The event is themed "Cultivating Solutions for the Food and Hospitality Industry," emphasizing innovation and transformation in the sector. Key features include the introduction of specialized zones such as the Brew & Bake Hall, which highlights trends and innovations in brewing and baking, and the Coffee Mixology Challenge - Zero Proof, an interactive competition spotlighting coffee craftsmanship and mixology skills.
Cutting-edge Products and Breakthrough Innovations
FHM 2025 will showcase the latest products, emerging industry trends, and technological innovations addressing evolving needs in equipment, supplies, ingredients, services, and technology for food and hospitality professionals. The event will also feature the International Signature Hall, Malaysia Pastry Week, and other exciting new elements.
Networking Opportunities and Immersive Experiences
Designed to offer comprehensive business solutions and facilitate collaboration among industry stakeholders for long-term growth, FHM 2025 will provide strategic networking opportunities and immersive experiences. Additional programming from previous related events suggests the inclusion of international culinary competitions, the SIAL Innovation Showcase, a Halal Forum, and a Chocolate Show.
Sustainability and Community Engagement
In line with current trends, FHM 2025 will also focus on sustainability. The FutureFWD - Hospitality, Food & Beverage, a high-impact, one-day conference, will be a new addition to the event, focusing on sustainability, technology, consumer expectations, hospitality design, and guest experiences. Additionally, the Food Share Initiative, partnering with Food Aid Foundation, will collect untouched food items daily during FHM 2025 for distribution to community kitchens across Kuala Lumpur.
Registration and Participation
Registration for FHM 2025 is free until September 21, 2025, after which a fee of RM100 will apply. Some returning programmes include Culinaire Malaysia, organized by the Malaysian Association of Hotels (MAH), and Housekeeping Malaysia, in collaboration with Malaysia Association of Housekeepers (MAHIR).
