High-Priced Fixed Blade Knife, the Leatherman Trac, Stands Up to All Challenges Nature Puts Forward, Priced at $300.
Leatherman, the renowned gear brand that revolutionised the multi-tool category with its Pocket Survival Tool (PST) in 1983, has expanded its offerings with the introduction of its first premium knife collection. One of the knives in this collection is the Trac, an outdoor-focused fixed blade knife.
The Trac boasts a 4.2-inch drop-point blade made from MagnaCut stainless steel, featuring a hollow saber grind for strong cutting power and a hardness rating of 60-63 HRC. The blade spine includes jimping for enhanced grip and control, making it perfect for a variety of wilderness and field tasks.
The Trac's handle is made of sculpted G10 material, providing an ergonomic design for better grip and control. The handle also features custom fasteners and radiused edges that create a shadowbox effect, offering durability and comfort. The handle is designed for a secure grip in tough outdoor conditions and supports horizontal and vertical carry options, making it suitable for both left- and right-handed users.
The Trac comes with a premium vegetable-tanned leather sheath made from hand-stitched, American full-grain cowhide. The sheath includes a lanyard loop for quick access, ensuring the knife is always ready when you need it.
The Trac is available in three colourways: Alpine, Earth Brown, and Jet Black. This versatile outdoor tool retails for approximately $300 and is now available through Leatherman's website.
