In an exciting development for the hospitality industry, Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced plans to build a new hotel in partnership with Towa Real Estate Co. Ltd., an affiliate of the TOYOTA Group. The hotel, named Caption by Hyatt Kabutocho Tokyo, is set to open in Fall 2025 and will be the first hotel in Japan under The Unbound Collection by Hyatt brand.

Situated in the vibrant Kabutocho district of Tokyo, the hotel will blend seamlessly with its surroundings, offering a unique and authentic experience for travellers seeking local inspiration. As part of The Unbound Collection, the hotel will emphasise distinctive design, local influence, and personalised service, making it a standout destination in the city.

The hotel will feature approximately 120 tastefully designed guest rooms and suites of at least 484 square feet (45 square meters) each. In addition to luxurious accommodations, the hotel will offer a range of amenities, including multiple fine dining restaurants and bars, an indoor pool, fitness center, spa, natural onsen hot-spring bathing facilities, and a car museum.

The hotel's location on the grounds of Fuji Speedway will offer convenient access to motorsports events and the upcoming Motorsports Village facility. Guests arriving from remote areas will also benefit from the hotel's proximity to the Oyama Parking Area Smart Interchange, scheduled to open in 2021.

The hotel will also house a Motorsports Museum, adding to its unique offerings. In addition, the hotel will have a flexible banquet room of 5,381 square feet (500 square meters) and a 2,152 square foot (200 square meter) conference room, positioning it as an ideal venue for story-worthy meetings and events.

Hyatt’s first Unbound Collection hotel in Japan, Caption by Hyatt Kabutocho Tokyo, aims to be a place "where something new begins" for both travellers and locals, reflecting local culture and happenings. This development marks an important step in Hyatt’s expanding lifestyle and luxury portfolio in the Asia-Pacific region.
