Helium-3 Sold: HELIOS 3 Project
The yacht Helios 3, a 54-meter (177 feet) vessel manufactured by Delta Marine, has been sold to a new, undisclosed owner. The sale was facilitated by Christian Bakewell in the Burgess Aspen office, with Fraser's Stuart Larsen representing the seller.
After being on the market for five months as of early August 2025, the sale marks the end of a successful negotiation process.
Helios 3 has been meticulously refitted, with a comprehensive overhaul completed in 2017. The refit included a 4-meter extension to the hull and a 2.5-meter extension to the superstructure, costing over $17 million initially and now valued at well over $25 million.
The yacht offers accommodation for up to 16 guests in a thoughtful seven-cabin layout. The luxurious full-beam owner's suite on the bridge deck boasts a walk-in wardrobe, sofa, dressing table, en suite with separate bath and shower, private office, and private aft deck with bar and lounge areas. A twin guest cabin with en suite on the same bridge deck enhances privacy for guests on long voyages.
Constructed in GRP (glass-reinforced plastic) by Delta Marine, Helios 3 is a testament to the company's expertise in refits and new builds, ensuring reliability and comfort for worldwide cruising.
