Graphic Design Students from Park University to Exhibit Their Creations on May 9th
On May 9, 2025, from 6 to 9 p.m., Park University's Art and Design Programs will host the Senior Graphic Design Show at the VIP Special Event Space in Parkville (160 S. Main St.). This exciting event will showcase the innovative work of Park University's senior graphic design students, celebrating the intersection of art and popular culture, and focusing on the pop art movement.
The pop art era, known for its bold colors, commercial imagery, and cultural commentary, continues to inspire new generations of artists and designers. This exhibit aims to demonstrate the transformative power of graphic design through a modern lens.
Among the student artists participating in the show are Kylie Hawkins, a senior from Grain Valley, Mo., who attended Grain Valley High School, Kori Rusley, a senior from Kansas City, Mo., who attended Liberty North High School, Natalia Loubriel from Kansas City, Kan., who attended Sumner Academy of Arts and Science, Korbin Harris from Smithville, Mo., who attended Smithville High School, Brock Beashore from Kansas City, Kan., who attended Piper High School, Rachel Nash from Kearney, Mo., who attended Kearney High School, Kenzy Barnett from Independence, Mo., who attended Truman High School, and Bridget Nash, a senior from Kansas City, Mo.
