Frick Collection Introduces First Cafe Following Museum's Resumption in April.
Head on over to the opulent new Westmoreland café, nestled within the renovated halls of The Frick Collection on Manhattan's Upper East Side.
Such an exquisite establishment has been gracing visitors since April, following four years of refurbishments. Alongside refurbished reading rooms, a 220-seater auditorium, and over 1,800 artworks, the café presents the perfect palate-pleasing pit stop.
The 50-seat restaurant, designed by Selldorf Architects and expertly reimagined by Bryan O'Sullivan Studio (BOSS), boasts a sleek, Murano-lit dining area featuring a Darren Waterston-painted mural. The Pullman-themed eatery offers a lavish yet luxurious escape.
Axel Rüger, director of Anna-Maria and Stephen Kellen, expressed his delight, stating, "As we revel in the grand reopening of The Frick, we're thrilled to launch the institution's inaugural café. This service brings us into the 21st century, offering visitors and members a space to unwind, converse, and appreciate the collection's wonders over refined food and drinks."
