The Fellbach Cultural Office is set to host a unique dance workshop named "DanceSpaceArt" in the drip chambers on July 25, from 5 to 7:30 pm. This participatory event, led by choreographer, dancer, and dance therapist Cornelia Widmer and violinist Walter Widmer, invites participants to explore the relationship between body, space, and materials in a site-specific environment.

Cornelia Widmer, a native of Stuttgart, discovered the Fellbach drip chambers during a recent visit in May. The unique space, with its rugged concrete walls, graffiti, open sky, and unique acoustics, offers a captivating "stage" for the workshop. The drip chambers, located in the Weidachtal and home to many animals and plants, serve as a source of inspiration for the workshop.

The workshop encourages openness and value-freedom towards one's own movement experiments, with improvised formations and the opportunity for participants to bring their own ideas. The aim is to create movements through the perception of space, find new ways, and express emotions physically. The participation fee is 25 euros, with tickets available for purchase in advance at i-Punkt Fellbach or on site in the evening.

DanceSpaceArt is part of the 16th Triennial of Small Sculpture "Habitate. About Living Spaces". The Fellbach Small Sculpture Triennial, established in 1980 and held every three years, is an internationally recognized event focusing on contemporary sculpture, installations, and experimental spatial art. Known for boundary-pushing, site-specific works and collaborations across disciplines, the Triennial provides an excellent platform for cutting-edge contemporary art practices.

While no "DanceSpaceArt workshop in the drip chambers" is currently widely documented in relation to the Fellbach Small Sculpture Triennial, such interdisciplinary projects are increasingly common at major art events. If you have a specific year, artist, or collective in mind, providing those details could help identify or verify the event. For the latest information, contact the Fellbach Triennial organizers or follow their announcements.

Whether you're a seasoned dancer or a curious newcomer, DanceSpaceArt offers a chance to immerse yourself in a unique artistic experience. Comfortable clothing and shoes are necessary, and participants can simply surrender to the events curiously during the workshop. Don't miss this opportunity to create, explore, and express in the extraordinary setting of the Fellbach drip chambers.

The Fellbach Cultural Office has announced a lifestyle event, "DanceSpaceArt," happening in the home-and-garden setting of the drip chambers, on July 25. This home-and-garden venture, inspired by nature and the workshop's unique environment, invites participants to experiment with their own movements and express emotions physically within the context of art and dance.
