Vibrant ASEAN Photography Exhibition Opens in Nghe An

Nghe An's bustling art scene welcomed a new attraction on May 12, with the opening of the photography exhibition, Countries and People of ASEAN. Hosted at the Nghe An provincial Museum, this event is part of the 2025 Sen (Lotus) Village Festival celebrations.

Co-presented by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Nghe An provincial People's Committee, the exhibition offers an enlightening collection of over 200 artistic photographs from the hearts of all 10 ASEAN member states. Through these visually striking pieces, visitors gain an intimate insight into the region's diverse landscapes, people, cultures, economies, and societies, deeply immersing themselves in the ASEAN experience. The showcase also highlights inspiring collaborative and exchange activities among these member nations.

The exhibition strives to elevate public awareness and admiration of ASEAN, a community celebrated for its significant contributions to regional and global harmony, progress, and partnership. It also seeks to honor cherished values like solidarity and camaraderie, alongside the shared ambition for the sustainable growth and development of Southeast Asia.

For photography aficionados, cultural enthusiasts, ASEAN photographers, and curious global travelers alike, the event offers a priceless opportunity to engage in thought-provoking discussions, strengthen connections, and cultivate mutual respect and comprehension.

Nghe An's local photographers are also spotlighted, as 30 of their exceptional works grace the display, promoting the province's unique image to both domestic and foreign tourists.

From May 10 to 19, the 2025 Sen Village Festival unfolds in Vinh City and Nam Đàn District of Nghe An Province, a significant location that has nurtured the leadership of President Hṓ̀ Chí Minh.
