Exciting performance at the Gold Digger Soup Festival
The annual Goldgruber Soup Festival, held at the St. Franziskus community center, brought together soup enthusiasts and chefs from all around, celebrating the art of soup making. After much anticipation, here are the winners of this year’s awards, along with their award-winning recipes for you to try at home!

Would you like recipes from more award categories, tips on soup making, or details about the festival? The Goldgruber Soup Festival, with the theme "Soups from Around the World", attracted over 200 guests and was a celebration of community and diversity.
All participating teams received a cookbook from Reuffel bookstore and a spice box from Hartkorn Spice Mill as a token of appreciation. The festival was organized by Caritas neighborhood work, the Catholic Parish of St. Franziskus, and the neighborhood magazine Goldgrube.
Laila Sheib won the children's audience prize for her Vegetable Oat Soup, while Yasmin Schminke's Corn Soup received the adults' audience prize. The VIP jury, consisting of Dijana Kolak, Mayor Ulrike Mohrs, Adalbert Fettweiß, and Detlev Pilger, awarded the Colorful Potato Soup of the Pestalozzi School.
Caritas employee Claudia Altmeier expressed her joy, stating that the festival was a wonderful place for community and cultural exchange. The Goldgruber Soup Festival concluded with applause for all guests and engaged people who contributed to its success.
