Dresden's Outdoor Swimming Pools Now Accessible for Public Use!
Public swimming pools in Dresden have commenced their 2025 season, with several facilities opening their doors from May 28th. Among these, the Stausee Bath Cossebaude, the natural bath Mockritz, public pools Cotta and Wostra, the Luftbad Dölzschen, and the Waldbad Langebrück have all welcomed swimmers.
Opening hours remain consistent, with all pools operating daily from 10 am to 7 pm. The Georg-Arnhold-Bad even offers extended hours until 9 pm. Entrance fees are set to remain the same as last year.
Notably, a two-day bath festival is scheduled for June 21st and 22nd, 2025, celebrating the centennial of Freibad Mockritz. The season will conclude on September 7th, 2025, for most pools. However, the Georg-Arnhold-Bad, Kombibad Prohlis, Strandbad Wostra, and the two bathing spots will close a week later on September 14th, 2025.
