Community street festival hosts family-friendly event in the local menger park
On September 5, 2025, the International Street Culture Festival 'Nordhorn Marvels + Laughs' will host a Family Gala at Neumarkt, starting at 3 pm. This exciting event, part of the Street Culture Festspiele, will feature a diverse lineup of artists from Germany, France, Spain, and Italy.
The Family Gala promises a unique blend of acrobatics, clowning, and poetic circus theatre, designed for children of school age but enjoyable for the whole family. One of the highlights will be the performance by Duo Mio, consisting of Merle Freund and Martin Bogus. Their show will showcase a captivating combination of juggling, acrobatics, dance, and clowning.
Another notable act is Mareike Koch, who will display her trapeze and vertical silk artistry with demanding choreographies. The duo 'manoAmano' from Argentina will present their new show 'NOSO3'. The grand finale will be performed by The Maag, a master of certified Swiss humor, offering alpine madness, interactive comedy, and audience interaction.
Fraser Hooper, a multiple award-winning clown from New Zealand, will also perform his show 'Funny Business'. Jens Ohle, a comedian and artist from Hamburg, will host the show, ensuring a fun and engaging atmosphere throughout.
