Clean Fanatics Raises Rs 17 Cr in Seed Round, Eyes Indian Home Services Market
Clean Fanatics, a Bengaluru-based home services marketplace, has raised Rs 17 crore (about $2 million) in its seed round. The startup, founded in October 2022, offers a range of services including deep cleaning, painting, and civil renovations, serving over 2,500 homes monthly in Bengaluru alone.
Led by B.J. Arun, a seasoned entrepreneur who previously helmed July Systems and Librato, and served as president of TiE Silicon Valley, Clean Fanatics has seen remarkable growth. The startup has expanded its top line by 8x over the past 24 months, generating Rs 2 crore in monthly revenue from Bengaluru.
The seed round was led by Inflection Point Ventures, with participation from Blume Founders Fund, Let's Ventures, Trica, TiE Angels, and other angel investors. The funds will be used for team expansion, technology enhancement, and scaling new verticals like civil construction and home renovation. Mitesh Shah, Co-Founder of IPV, believes the home services market in India, with its vast geography and rising incomes, holds immense potential for growth.
Clean Fanatics' COO, Nishant Prasad, an alumnus of NIT Surat and IIM Mumbai, brings extensive experience from senior roles at Glenmark, Hewlett-Packard, and Renoir Consulting. The startup's people-first approach has resulted in 40% of its revenue coming from word-of-mouth referrals.
With a strong leadership team and robust growth trajectory, Clean Fanatics is poised to make a significant impact in the home services sector. The recent funding will enable the startup to expand its offerings, enhance technology, and tap into the vast potential of the Indian market.
