Celebrate the end of summer at the 2025 North Texas Fair and Rodeo event.

The North Texas Fair & Rodeo, taking place from August 15 to August 24 at the North Texas Fairgrounds in Denton, promises an exciting 10-day event filled with a variety of activities for all ages.

Nightly rodeos will showcase top-tier rodeo competition, offering a chance to witness the thrill of this traditional cowboy sport. The event also features live country music concerts every night, with headline performers such as Aaron Lewis & The Stateliners, The Bellamy Brothers, and Josh Turner.

For those seeking family-friendly entertainment, the North Texas Fair & Rodeo offers carnival rides, livestock shows, and kid & fun zones. The Peterbilt Kid Zone, for instance, provides activities like a petting zoo, pony rides, a trackless train, and Agri-Golf (a mini-golf experience with an ag-themed twist).

The North Texas Fair & Rodeo Parade takes place on Saturday, August 16, starting at 9 a.m. Floats, trailers, wagons, and horse entries will compete for cash prizes in categories like riding clubs, commercial, youth, Western wagon, and classic car. Anyone can enter the parade at no charge.

Beyond the rodeos, concerts, and parades, the event features additional attractions such as various exhibitions and vendor booths, enriching the fair experience.

The Stockyards Championship Rodeo is also ongoing at the Cowtown Coliseum, with ticket prices varying. For those interested in Mutton Bustin', a rodeo event for young children, it takes place during the nightly rodeo performances from Aug. 18-24. Children wanting to compete need to register in advance.

The North Texas Fair & Rodeo extends beyond rodeo action, live music, and parades. It also offers a chance to see farm animals and cheer on young exhibitors during the Junior Livestock Shows, which take place at the North Texas Fairgrounds from Aug. 15-24.

For those with a fascination for science, the Bug Lab Exhibit is on display at the Perot Museum until Jan. 4, with ticket prices ranging from $8-$10. On the other hand, those seeking a more fantastical experience can visit the PRISMATIC: Fantastical Realms exhibit at Spark! until Sept. 7, with ticket prices ranging from $20-$40.

The Universe of Light Show is on display at the Gaylord Texan until Sept. 1, with ticket prices ranging from $25-$35.

The North Texas Fair & Rodeo is more than just a series of events; it's a community celebration.
