Carthago updates its stylish C-line range for 2026, featuring revamped interiors and a novel, fixed bed design

The luxury motorhome manufacturer, Carthago, has unveiled significant updates for its chic c-line range in 2026. The new models will boast refreshed interiors, new fixed bed layouts, and the introduction of Fiat Ducato-based vehicles alongside the existing Mercedes Sprinter-based models.

A striking new visual feature on the Mercedes Sprinter-based chic c-line models is the "V-face" front facade, originally introduced on Mercedes-based e-line models last season. This facade includes a hexagonal radiator grille with five crossbars, a prominent chrome-plated "C" in the center, and grey "A" pillars extending to the roof, creating a bold, recognizable design element.

The new c-line models will come with two standard interior styles: the "Amalfi" style, featuring an "Exclusive Walnut" furniture finish, bi-color handle-free overhead lockers, and natural stone effect worktops; and the "Cortina" style (optional), which maintains the walnut finish but has muted white handle-free locker doors and wood-effect worktops.

Kitchens have been enhanced with a new floating worktop that serves as both a raised counter and room divider, plus a rear bar cabinet with a pull-out wine rack. New layouts introduced include the T 4.9LE with fixed single beds in the rear and others featuring lengthwise single beds, Vario swiveling bathrooms, L-shaped lounge seating, and space-saving side kitchens. These layouts are available on both Fiat and Mercedes bases, offering more versatility for customers.

All c1 tourer low-profiles will be available with either white or black metallic cab. The T 147 RB-LE K and the T 148 RB-QB K, two new c1 tourer low-profile models, have been introduced, each with unique bed configurations. The c1 tourer low-profiles will continue to be available as 'lightweight 3.5t" or "comfort 4.2t" versions due to their length.

Some new c-line models will weigh at least 4200kg, making them suitable only for those with a C1 licence. Notably, some models in the c2 tourer A-class range will now be running on a Fiat Ducato base vehicle for the first time. Carthago is widening the number of narrower c2 tourer A-class motorhomes it first introduced last season.

Additional notable features standard in the c-line include full LED headlights with daytime running lights, the "Carthago best view" bus mirrors, convenient garage access from both sides, stylish GRP rear with dynamic LED indicators, and exclusive LED lighting concepts with dimming and ambient options. The driver’s cabin offers premium comfort with an Aguti pilot seat and ergonomic upholstery. Storage innovations include a swivel-out shoe cabinet with integrated LED lighting.

All e-line, s-plus, and liner models, as well as c-line models, will come with a touchscreen display for checking onboard systems, with c-line models having a 7-inch display. Chic s-plus models this season will have a new-look Iveco Daily cab, featuring a wireless charging pad, dedicated spaces for a phone and a tablet, a two-way adjustable steering column, a new Hi-Mac gear selector, and a 10-inch infotainment display that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

In summary, the 2026 Carthago c-line range advances luxury motorhome design with a broader chassis choice, striking new exterior styling via the "V-face" front facade on Mercedes models, upgraded stylish interiors with modern furniture finishes, innovative kitchen designs, and expanded layouts enhancing comfort and functionality.
