Border Hike This Friday: Six Markers, Buses Provided
A border hike is set for this Friday, October 3rd, organized by several local authorities. The event, led by 'Main-Spessart Tourismus und Freizeit GmbH', will take participants through six boundary markers regardless of the weather today. Buses will be available for transport.
The hike begins at 8:45 AM at the path to the Spatzenbild between Hohe-Wart-Haus and Sendemast. Buses will depart from 7:30 AM towards Hohe Wart. Participants should wear sturdy footwear and weather-appropriate clothing for the weather today.
The route will pass through Pfaffenberg, Sodener, Oberbessenbach, and Hessenthaler border areas. A free snack will be provided around 10:45 AM. The hike will end at the Sportheim Volkersbrunn in Volkersbrunn.
