Blue-faced Luminor GMT model added to Panerai's enduring collection

The luxury watchmaker Panerai has unveiled its latest addition to the Ceramica collection, the Luminor GMT Power Reserve Ceramica PAM01574. This timepiece, priced at EUR 16,800 and CHF 14,800, is set to become a staple in any watch enthusiast's collection.

The new Ceramica watch showcases Panerai's iconic sandwich dial construction, which enhances lume exposure and legibility in low light. The long, lumed hour markers, numerals, and hands are bright white in daylight, and the Super-LumiNova X2 on the indices and hands is 10% brighter than its predecessor, X1.

The GMT hand of the new Ceramica watch features a pronounced arrow tip, allowing for easy tracking of a second time zone. There is no central seconds hand; instead, a small seconds subdial can be found at 9 o'clock. A small power reserve indicator is located at 5 o'clock, offering a 72-hour power reserve.

The watch measures 44mm in diameter and boasts a water resistance of 300m. The case is made of high-tech Zirconium Oxide, which is five times harder than stainless steel, providing exceptional durability. The caseback is made of black DLC-coated titanium.

The Luminor GMT Power Reserve Ceramica retains the stealthy and legible design of the original all-black Ceramica, while also introducing a new element with a blue sunray dial, showcased during Milan Design Week. The watch comes with a blue alligator leather strap and a blue rubber strap, offering versatility to match any occasion.

The watch is powered by the in-house P.9012 automatic movement, featuring a seconds reset function when setting the GMT hour hand. The date window is conveniently located at 3 o'clock. The hands are framed in black for further distinction.

The Luminor GMT Power Reserve Ceramica PAM01574 is part of the permanent collection and will be available from Panerai in the coming weeks for $16,500. This timepiece is set to revolutionise the world of luxury watches, combining style, functionality, and durability in one sleek package.

Ceramic, a popular material in the watch world due to its ability to take color well, lightweight nature, and scratch resistance, houses the watch for the first time in a three-day GMT watch. The new Ceramica watch is a testament to Panerai's commitment to innovation and quality.

The new Ceramica watch is not just a timekeeping device; it's a statement piece that combines elegance, functionality, and durability. Whether you're a seasoned watch collector or a novice in the world of luxury watches, the Luminor GMT Power Reserve Ceramica PAM01574 is a must-have addition to your collection.

This new Ceramica watch by Panerai, featuring a blue sunray dial and a stealthy design, is a testament to their commitment to fusion of style, functional innovation, and durability, marking a fresh addition in the realm of fashion-and-beauty. With its high-tech Zirconium Oxide case, offering home-and-garden-worthy resistance to scratches, it effortlessly aligns with any lifestyle, boasting a 300m water resistance.
