Blowzee's Shark Tank Appearance Boosts Sales, Despite No Investment
Blowzee, a unique candle-blowing device, has gained attention following its appearance on Shark Tank. The product, which helps keep users' breath and germs off cakes, has a 4-star rating on Amazon and is available on the brand's website and Amazon.
Co-founders Mark Apelt and Dennis Koerber created Blowzee. Apelt attempted to pitch the product on Shark Tank, seeking $100,000 for 20% of the company. During the pitch, he demonstrated Blowzee by blowing out candles on a cake. The device features a battery-operated fan that activates when the user blows into the open end, diverting germ-filled air back towards the user.
Despite the Sharks not investing, Blowzee's entire inventory sold out in less than 2.5 hours after the episode aired. Blowzee is not a toy and should not be used as one to prolong its lifespan. It's perfect for birthday parties with strict COVID protocols, making it a fun and attractive option for kids.
Blowzee, with its innovative design and practical use, has proven popular among consumers. Although it didn't secure investment from the Sharks, the product's success on Amazon and the brand's website speaks for itself. As a unique candle-blowing device, Blowzee continues to be a hit among customers.
