In the bustling city of Newcastle, an exciting event took place at WB's auction site last month. The September sale featured a diverse range of lots, from 1950s classics to modern performance cars, attracting enthusiasts and collectors from far and wide.

The star of the show was undoubtedly a TVR 430, which fetched a price of £12,250. This classic British sports car, with its distinctive design and powerful engine, was a hot item among bidders.

Another TVR, the Chimaera 500, also found a new home, selling for £11,000. The Chimaera, known for its comfortable ride and impressive performance, was a popular choice among those seeking a more everyday-friendly sports car.

For those with a taste for the more nostalgic, a 1965 Bedford CA ice cream van was sold for £3000. This vintage vehicle, with its iconic design and charming character, was sure to bring a smile to its new owner's face.

A rare find for the enthusiasts was a Sierra Sapphire RS Cosworth, which underwent an underbody restoration. This iconic 80s car, with its powerful engine and sleek design, sold for £16,750.

However, not all lots were as fortunate. A Riley Elf, a Mk2 Cavalier, and a Standard 8 did not find buyers under the hammer. Similarly, a Series 1 1985 Ford Escort RS Turbo, though a restoration project with no reserve, was purchased by WB & Sons at the auction.

The Ford Escort RS Turbo, despite being a work in progress, sold for a respectable £7750. Another interesting find was a Peugeot 205 GTI, with a late J registration, which sold for £15,500.

For those with a passion for cycling, a Raleigh Burner BMX was sold for £260. And for those in need of a heavy-duty vehicle, a 1986 Bedford CF tipper found a new owner for £1900.

Lastly, a TVR 400 and a TVR Chimaera 450, both classic British sports cars, were also sold for £11,000 and £9500, respectively.

All in all, the September sale at WB's Newcastle site was a success, offering a variety of lots to suit all tastes and budgets. Whether you're a car enthusiast, a cyclist, or simply in need of a unique vehicle, WB's auction is a must-visit for anyone in the market for something special.
