Bamberg's Domberg Hosts 'Adventure in History' Event on World Children's Day
Bamberg's Domberg is set to host a vibrant event, 'Abenteuer in my activity', on September 20th, celebrating World Children's Day. The Historical Museum Bamberg and the Neue Residenz have prepared a day filled with interactive activities, workshops, and tours for all ages.
The 'Adventure in History' tour, organised by the Domberg-Freundeskreis, will take visitors on a time-travel journey from the Middle Ages to the Baroque. Meanwhile, the 'Glimmer of Light and Warm Home?' tour at the Neue Residenz is specifically designed for children aged 6 and above.
Visitors can also enjoy the 'Handpan Music' station, where they can discover the unique sound of the handpan instrument. The 'Lehm ist bunt' workshop offers a creative experience, allowing participants to paint tree bark mobiles with washable clay colours. For those interested in designing their own unique buttons, the 'Colorful Buttons' activity is a must.
The 'Grandmas Against the Right Bamberg' info booth will provide information about their work and offer a lucky wheel for visitors to try their luck. The event is hosted by the Neue Residenz and the Alte Hofhaltung, offering a variety of activities including family tours, workshops, and interactive stations.
Mark your calendars for September 20th, as Domberg in Bamberg transforms into a hub of history and creativity. With a range of activities suitable for all ages, 'Abenteuer in my activity' promises a fun-filled day of discovery and learning.
