Awards Ceremony 2019: Aggregate Prizes amounting to EUR 40,000 - Concludes on Saturday
In the heart of Germany, photography enthusiasts in the distribution area of "Pforzheimer Zeitung" are invited to participate in an exciting photography competition called "Blende". This competition, aimed at amateurs, offers a chance to showcase creativity and win prizes worth around 40,000 euros, generously provided by Prophoto.
The competition, now in its latest edition, is open to all, including smartphone users. There are two exciting themes for this year: "Upside Down World" and "In Motion".
For the "Upside Down World" theme, no limits are set on imagination. This is your chance to present the world from a unique perspective, turning everyday objects into extraordinary subjects. On the other hand, "In Motion" encourages photos of people, animals, or objects in action. Whether it's a split-second moment of sports action, a bustling city street, or a peaceful dance, this theme invites you to capture the essence of movement.
To submit your entries, the images should be in JPEG/RGB format, with a resolution of 300 dpi, and a maximum file size of eight megabytes. The longer side of the submitted images should be at least 800 pixels long, with the shorter side proportional.
Participants can submit up to three entries per theme. The online form for submissions will be activated on Saturday, June 29. You can access the form via the link www.ourwebsite/blende.
The goal of the competition is to captivate the viewer with the images. In the first round, "Pforzheimer Zeitung" awards shopping vouchers for photo material worth several hundred euros. The winners of the nationwide final will receive the grand prizes.
