Ancestral buccaneers scour the earth for ancient riches
Every first Friday of the month, a delightful event takes place in the heart of the Wolfgangsiedlung neighbourhood - the Volunteer Reading Buddies. This event, held in the children's department of the local library, is a wonderful opportunity for adults to participate and listen to the readings of picture books aloud to children.
The Volunteer Reading Buddies event is designed to help kindergarten and preschool children discover new picture books, both familiar and new ones. The most recent reading was conducted by Frau Müller, a dedicated children's librarian.
One of the best things about this event is that no registration is required to attend. Adults are welcome to drop by and enjoy the readings, making it an accessible and inclusive activity for all. What's more, admission to the event is absolutely free!
The Volunteer Reading Buddies event takes place monthly, making it a regular highlight for many young readers in the community. So, if you're looking for a fun and educational activity to enjoy with your little ones, be sure to visit the library in Wolfgangsiedlung on the first Friday of each month. You might just find yourself becoming a volunteer reading buddy yourself!
