ABG Partners with Roffe for Geoffrey Beene Men's Tailored Clothing
Authentic Brands Group (ABG) has announced a new partnership with Roffe Accessories for the manufacture and distribution of Geoffrey Beene men's tailored clothing. This move follows ABG's acquisition of the Geoffrey Beene brand from PVH Corp. in 2021 for $220 million.
Roffe Accessories, founded in 1989, will design, produce, and distribute the Geoffrey Beene men's and boys' tailored clothing collections. The company has experience working with notable brands such as Jerry Farcia, Duchamp London, and Nicole Miller. This partnership replaces ABG's previous collaboration with Versa Group for men's dress shirts under the Geoffrey Beene brand.
In addition to Geoffrey Beene, ABG has expanded its portfolio this year by acquiring the intellectual property for Vince and Hunter Boots. The company also purchased Boardriders, the parent company of Roxy, Billabong, and Quiksilver. ABG's partnership with Peerless Clothing will facilitate the manufacture and distribution of Vince men's tailored clothing.
Roffe plans to sell the Geoffrey Beene tailored clothing collections through department stores and online in the U.S. and Canada. ABG's strategic acquisitions and partnerships aim to strengthen its presence in the menswear market. PVH Corp. sold the Geoffrey Beene brand to focus on its core brands, Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger.
